    Full screen pop-up ads?

    Hey guys,

I'm trying to implement ads into my game. There is no room for banner ads so I'm going to have to resort to full screen pop up ads.

    1. What would be the best method of doing this?
    2. Can I use iAd or is that just for banner ads?
    3. Do I get to choose when the pop-up ads occur in the game or is there some kind of system I have to abide by?

    Thanks in advance.

Not sure about iAD, but Chartboost can do full screen ads.

The Chartboost extension let's you choose when you want to display them via events. So you could have a global counter that keeps track of rounds played, then display an ad after 3 or so rounds (as an example.) This way you can even present the player with an option to disable ads via a single time in app purchase. Then when you're checking your global value to display an ad, you can also add a check to see if they are a paying user or not and act accordingly. Make sure to save the fact they've disabled ads via an ini file or something.

    IOS Iad has only Banners.

Chartboost is the way to go. I made some examples for that, so it's easy to implement.
Even video play awards works. make sure you use the latest Beta.. or wait for 284.8 since the old Libs are in the last 2-3 beta's.
