    Disabling F2 and F8?

I have just noticed that when you press F2 it automatically goes back 1 frame, and when you press F8 it toggles to add and remove the menu bar on the window.
I don't think it always did this, as I was using those keys in my app before, so perhaps I turned on some option by mistake? How do you disable these?

you can change disable the default keyboard shortcuts in the application properties (window tab) - should be self explanatory.

Delete the menu. Or edit it.

Thank you for the advice. It is happening on the latest build of this game engine and on new projects, but not on older builds of the application.
I see from your screenshot that new and hide menu bar are supposed to be the defaults but I don't have those.

I tried to remove the entire menu bar and its contents.
Without a menu bar to show/hide F8 does nothing, but the F2 key is still moving back one frame outside of that.
Maybe its a bug and the default menu bar keys are taking effect.

Yes, CTRL+P and CTRL+Y also doing what they do on the default menu, so its definitely default menu controls being usable even though they are removed them from the menu.

    I can't reproduce this.
When I delete the commands they no longer work.

Can you make a simple little example file?
So I can see how it runs on my copy of Fusion.

Thank you for your reply here as well as your email, Jeff!
    I emailed you 3 examples
    1) The original file I was working on
    2) The same file with almost all events and objects removed, but the menu bar used intact.
    3) The same as #2, but all menu bar items removed as well.

I can only produce this with the current file I am working on. The bug seems to be linked directly to it.

what build are you using? I'd try to update Fusion 2.5 or go back to an earlier version if you're using the latest and see if that helps. You might need to register your serials on the forum though.

About that, do you know where you can find the serial number for the steam version?

    Idea --
If you copy the frames into a new MFA file does it work right?
Since its seems to be only in that one file.

Steam version gets the latest updates automatically thru Steam.
