    The thing with strings...

Why is it that strings get distorted at runtime when they look fine in the creation frame? I've always wondered this and cannot for the life of me figure out how to avoid it. Also, it seems sometimes, no matter what, the top few pixels of the string is cut off. These issues have always perplexed me but not until today have they been crucial for me to fix. Any help is appreciated.

    String objects?
Maybe something messed up with your fonts?
    Can't remember experiencing this issue
    Can you provide an example?
