Run Game In Background?

i am unsure on how to enable the game to run in the background. i have uploaded my game via flash exporter on to Kongregate.

Why would you need to run it in the background? You can't do that with Flash...

is this possible in HTML? my game is an idle game therefor most players have the game minimised for long periods of time. It has been a main complaint

They can just minimize the browser or leave the game running in a separate tab. There's no way to run a web game in the background.
