My first extension! Android "AppInstalled", check if an app is installed

So i am finally starting to figure some things out, and this is my first little extension, definitely not the last
It's an extension for Android only, that allows to check if an application is installed or not, simply by the package name.

It also has an action to directly launch the application, which will open up the app page on google play only if it's not installed.

but, maybe its a dumb question...but what can I do with this? can you give me a example? (like engage downloads...)

Definitely useful to engage downloads.
1. You can display ad(s) to download your other app(s) only if they don't already have them.
2. You can use it to check if the other app is installed from both apps, so you can give a reward in app A to install app B, or you can advertise additional content which is automatically unlocked in app B if app A is installed.
3. If you just want to place a link to your app, this extension will directly open the app if it's installed, OR go to the play store to get it if it's not.
4. Some free app of the day kind of services also require to check that their app is installed, and you'll offer something in your app if it is.
f.ex a big game network with app id 'com.game.offers' features your app promising double amount of gems in your game, so you check that 'com.game.offers' is installed the first time your game starts and credits the extra gems.

Nice idea But easy to crack and unlock reward without install appA. You only need to install app with the same package name so more safe way is to create encoded file with secret data via appA and read and decode it by appB same effect but more safe.

SoftWarewolf, at the top of the Visual Studio IDE, there should be a couple dropdowns - the one on the left is the one you will want to change. Make sure you don't have any of the debug options selected.
