String Tokenizer Import not working on Android

Hi to all developers out there!

I recently made the String Tokenizer my app's most valuable extension as it brings inevitable functions the app needs to rely on.
Unfortunately, the import of a .txt-file only works testing it in CF2.5's runtime on the PC. In the Android app itself, the String Tokenizer fails to import the text file.
Double checked using a list that imports the file (with a before stated path), that works and the text is displayed in the list. Alas, the String Tokenizer after attempting to load the file still has zero objects though several delimiters are given (works fine with the same text on PC).
So how can this be that the ST won't load the file from the Android's temp folder but the list will?

Thank you all for reading and commenting!

Sorry, guessed it was concerning the extension.
The path is the phone's document directory directly from the Android Object (PublicStorageDirectory, Documents). Do you think, that could be the problem?

Might be some properties you need to turn on in the Android Application settings.

    That might be an attempt!
Will be testing this solution although I can't believe it's the properties as the file selector regularly reads the desired path, navigates to it and lets the user choose a file from that path, even stores the chosen path in a Global String.
