[QUESTION] Clickteam Fusion 3 - Is it going to be 3D?

Just wondering this, Clickteam Fusion 2.5 brought Physics to the table so I'd like Clickteam to keep up the revolution with Clickteam Fusion 3 being a 3D Engine.

I've seen a teasing screenshot of 3D primitive meshes (may not be Fusion 3 that was teased anyhow), but I can't recall if Clickteam has stated if there will be 3D capabilities or not.

Fusion 3 is launching as a 2D game and app creation tool. There may be possibilities for 3D later on, but this is not something which is planned right now.

Well there we have it. I'd rather F3 be a powerful 2d engine anyway. Can't wait to see the news as it comes.

I was uncertain due to the image I saw a while back with 3d primitives. Good to know though.

dont think fusion must aim 3d....its much better improve all 2d features and capables, and make a solid 2d engine than focus on 3d...

Couldn't agree more. If you're a hammer, don't try and be a screwdriver as well. =)

You guys are so slow! Either way, I'm hoping the possibilities are there. It would be so cool!

Could you guys hint at a new feature in Fusion 3 or is that classified?

We're not slow! Fusion is a 2D development tool and it always has been. Fusion 3 is a continuation of this line, not making it a 3D engine is a decision the company took, not slowness
