Play Videos in a pop up window?

    Hello,
after that great cyber monday sale I am now proud owner of MMF. However, for my
current project I would need to have videos, which play in pop up windows. Therefore
the question, can that be archived with MMF?
    Best regards,
    Heiner

Yup ( see attached example ), through use of the 'Sub Application' Object.
Just open Frame 2 in the example, go to the 'Active Direct Show's properties, and chose a video file from your local computer to play in the poppup window.
^ If you do this, you can run the entire Application and press the "Window" button to make a seperate window appear displaying your chosen video.

The 'Sub Appplication' Object has many settings in its properties enabeling you to choose how you want the 'extra window' to appear ( witin the Application itself/ in a seperate window/ with boarders/ resizable, etc )

Should give you a general idea about how it can be done and how to proceed with your specific idea, hopefully.

    Hello King-Cool,
that helped a lot. One more question: Is there a way to make the playing video adjustable so it scales with the frame of the sub app?
I made it to have the sub app window scale, but the video did not. Any Idea how I may get that effect?
    Regards

In the SubApps properties, check the checboxes 'Costumizable size' and 'Stretch frame to object size', then your good to go.
And yes, that there Fusion Icon is truly amazing!
Mine says STEAM cuz its cookin'!

Oh my, i though it was a joke, but there actually is a place called Battle Ground in Washington...
I'd live there for the name alone.

    Hi there,
now, got my cool fusion icon and more important, got my app running almost the way I want it. The only issue i have is with the scaling of the video window. I manage that you can make it smaller, and it scales the video acordingly, but I can not scale it to be larger. The initial resolution seems to be the limit for the max size of the video. Is there any way how to overcome that problem?
    Cheers
    Heiner
