Returning the INI Objects file pathname ( INI create in App Data folder CHECKED )?

    Hi
Im wanting my 'EditBox' to load my 'INI Objects' INI file.
My INI has its 'create in App Data folder CHECKED'.

Is there any way to return the INI files pathname, so the EditBox can load the INI file directly?
Or do i need to manually define the path to the INI file?

I think you can use appdir$ to just auto-generate the path (?)

The INI is located in the %AppData% folder

APPPATH$ from the top of my head.

but if you want to load an ini. all you enter is "myini.ini"

The Ini object will check in the user data folder automatically.

Apppath% and Appdir both gives me that folder path to the .mfa/ EXE
I need an EditBox/ String to load the 'INI Objects' INI file

Is there any way i can 'get' the INI Objects target files path?

    The reason im asking is:
    - im trying to encrypt the INI Objects 'INI file' ( located in the %Appdata% folder ), using either the 'AESFusion' or 'Blowfish' encryption extencions
    - The %Appdata% folder path alone is loacted in "C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\MMFApplicatio ns", meaning the path to the file is different on each computer
    - Furthermore, i assume the path to the %Appdata% folder is also different on different Operating Systems

Asuming the above is correct, i have 2 choices if want the encyption/ the App to work acoross all Computers and Operating Systems:
#1 - Program my App to detect the OS, and adjust the path to the %AppData%/ 'INI file' folder accordingly ( in some way )
#2 - Automatically get the path name/ location of the 'INI Objects' INI file through some method ( if possible )
    ^ #2 is deffinitly easier ( if #2 is possible )

I read somewhere on the forum that the 'File Object' or the 'YASO Object' ( Extencion ) should be able to return the location/ path of the %AppData% folder.
Is my best option to use the 'YASO Object', or is there some way i can get the path ot the %AppData% folder without using any extencions?

Both the File Object and YASO can supply the folder via an expression. I would go with File Object if I was you...

    I see
Just though there was a way for the INI to referance its own INI file
In my oppinion it augt be able to

    File Object -> AppDataDirectory$( "File" )
^ Returns the path to the folder

    ...
Out of curiosity, how would i go about getting this path for an iOS or Android build ( as the File and YASO Objects are only for Windows )?
