    Scoring not consistent during game play

    I'm wondering what would cause the scoring to not add up correctly? I have an active object that when it comes in contact with the player it adds 20 points to the players score. If you play the game slowly and only have a few of the objects on the screen at once it adds up correctly but when there are a few dozen of them coming at the player the score quickly rises from something in the hundreds to 15,000 or more. What would cause this? I have the scoring object destroyed as soon as it touches the player. Any ideas as to what I could be doing wrong?

    Sounds like the event you have adding the score is being triggered repeatedly.
    You could add a second condition to limit it to one action when events loop.

    One handy debugging tip is to add a sound to events then you can hear when they are triggered.
