    Device ID on Android exporter

    Hi

I am programming an android app...
I need to identifiate each device that run my app...

With the Android object, we can retrieve two "unique ID" :
    • the Phone Unique ID : PhoneID$( "Android object" )
    • the all devices Unique ID : DeviceID$( "Android object" )

The documentation about this two expressions from Android object :

    PhoneID$( "Android object" ) :
    Usage: PhoneID$("Android")
Returns the unique identifier of the phone.
    DeviceID$( "Android object" ) :
    Usage: DeviceID$("Android")
Returns a unique identifier for the device. Although this works for all devices, the ID is specific to Clickteam Fusion 2.5 and not a standard identifier.
what I can't understand is this
Although this works for all devices, the ID is specific to Clickteam Fusion 2.5 and not a standard identifier
Is the DeviceID$( "Android object" ) string created by CF2.5? Will it be always unique on all differtent device? Will it ever be the same on a device?

Is the first expression PhoneID$( "Android object" ) the ANDROID_ID?

Do you know if Serial Number Number is a Unique number?

    thank you for your help

deviceId from us, yes it will be different, unless user can clone hardware.

phoneid depends on the IMEI that also is hard to crack, but is not available in tablets.
