moving objects don't move separately

I have two different groups of active moving objects using a path to move, and one moves together perfectly. The other group moves in a random pattern. I did't make the two group's settings any different. Is there a way to fix this?

It's not easy to understand what's wrong without seeing the events

If you're using the actual built-in path movement, it's possible you don't have "inactive when too far from frame" set to NO. This would cause your offscreen objects to activate only when you come across them, causing desync from the others.
