    match 3 game anyone?

hi everyone, I'm new here. I'd like to know if I can use F2.5 to create a match 3 game like Candy Crush or Bejeweled and if there's any tutorial or template to look to.
    thanks.

Hey, it's possible, but not very straightforward to do. You should be experienced with Fastloops, ForEach loops and arrays and have a pretty good knowledge of how Fusion read the events and how it treats object selection. Arrays may or may not be used as a tool in creating such a game, but it is good to know about them so you will know the benefits of using them compared to use an invisible detector / scanner of sorts.

I was working on a tutorial on it a while back, but it got quite messy so I abandoned it. I might do another try in the future, though. But as a advice, learn those things I mentioned before attempting a game like this, even if there should pop up a tutorial...

    Popcorn,

That would be great if you made a tutorial! When I first bought Fusion a little over a year ago, I purchased the "Fusion Shapes" match 3 open source file. It declared it was open sourced and that the author explained what they were doing but oh boy! I think I had a brain seizure when I saw those array events on top of Loops compared to alt. values etc... . Then I found Choco Break and was happy to start there! . But that is some futuristic code!
