Writing INI file in Windows 10

Recently I changed my pc with Windows 10 Pro. My application worked with Windows XP SP3 but it works in W10 only if I run the exe file and it does not work if I install the application with Install Creator Pro (Build 44).
Using Install Creator Pro, I have included the creation command of the INI files in the "C:\ProgramData\Game".
Despite this, the file is not updated. If I try to change it manually, W10 asks me where I want to save the new file: will not let me change it!
I also tried to keep the INI in the application folder but nothing changes.
This also happens to other files that need to be changed by the User (txt, csv).
You know how to make editing files (editing permission) with the software?

By default Program files folder is locked for write by users in Windows 7 up environment. I believe for data there's a hidden folder called ProgramData on C: drive or use App Data in Users folder to save it. For all use Public or only current user if each user will have their own...

I got same result as you when including an INI file. Not writeable.
If the INI-file is created by the installed EXE-file, its ok to do read/write !

C:\programdata\ is hidden, but its open up if write %appdata% in file explorer. And this is the folder for your dynamic data for all users.

My permissions look exactly like that. The key is that "Administrators" have full control. If it is a one-time thing, you can log in as the actual administrator account, I believe it can read/write to the folder without any UAC restrictions. Go to ComputerManagement (right-click in lower left corner) and select the local user account Administrator and enable it. Then you should be able to log in as it if you need to

I found out its only possible to write new file, or add new values in INI file.
Impossible to change or erase INI-file or values in INIfiles
The odd thing its possible to add a new value in file by system calls, but not edit the file.
It depend how you do it.

Because the installation is run under administrator credentials, you can include a tool application (which you have to create by yourself) driving with commandline params that can set privilages for the common user to give read/write access in a directory.
