Angry Windows EXE Application doesn't run

    Hi,

Ive got a big problem here. When i build my windows exe application everything is fine. But when I try to open it nothing happend, except the mouseicon changed to the "sandclock" icon.
I dont know how to do now. I tried to open it on another computer but it still doesnt start (Windows 7 and Windows 8, Multimedia Fusion 2.5 Developer is up-to-date)

there is nothing in the mfa-scene, just an array object (dimension 1,1,1) and a counter

    Thanks for help

Are you able to build a blank application and open it fine?

Can you upload the mfa and your exe? We can try build from your mfa and see if we get a different result than your exe.

A pure guess is that something has broken your fusion runtime. Could be a malware or just anti-virus being overly protective.

Disable your anti-virus software (file protection specifically) and try to open it. If that doesn't work, then you have a bigger problem. As Chrilley said, possibly some sort of malware. Maybe a missing dll somewhere.

Both the mfa and the exe starts up without any problem here.

While I obviously cannot rule out that Fusion itself is the issue I think there is some other problem in your computers preventing your game from launching. Can you launch other Fusion-made games?

Your code for running loading and saving the file assumes the user has full admin rights/permissions which is a little nieve in todays world.
You should recode with run as invoker as you will also trip Windows smartscreen on windows 10
If you intend on distributing your game it's advised to follow best practice and save your files under %appdata% or %userprofile%
