A simple trick to make Fusion HTML5 games load faster

    Hi!
While publishing a HTML5 application, I noticed it is possible to reduce image file size and improve load times by doing this:

    - after building the HTML5 application (development mode), go in the 'resources' folder and select all png images
    - drag and drop all png files to https://tinypng.com/ (or any other lossless compression service you prefer)
    - replace the old png files with the new ones

By doing this I reduced file size of all images by an average 73%, with no visible quality loss and a significant faster load time

    Hope it helps!

    Fabrizio

Hooray Faber! I am currently build testing my first ever CLickteam game with HTML5 and have been running into major slowdowns! This is so exciting. Will test now. Thank you.

@Emerson3: Test it before and after, you'll be amazed to see the difference.

Wow Faber!!! You are so right! I just saved one of my big files an average of 65% space. Thank you so much for the tip!

    great tip!

would be cool if advanced compression options
were to be embedded in next builds of the exporter

    Hi,
Can this be done to the files in the .mfa as well (is there a way to access them)? It seems that if you re-build you would need to do the process again with this present method. Is this correct? Thanks,
    Brett

you can also save more time by grouping all your images into mosaic formate making your game only have to load 1 image
