    Help - How to create record line in game ? (endless runner game)

    Hi,

    I created simple example with endless runner game. The screen is static and only obstacles falling down. Every 00"-50 i add 1 to counter "distance". My best "distance" score is saving on array.

    How can i create sth like RECORD line in game ? This RECORD line should be set on my BEST score distance and it should be appear outside the frame and falling down like obstacles.

    I marked on picture below what i mean. There is a red line (my last best score - distance - in Mr Jump game). This is a place where my hero die last time.

    I think I know what you're trying to do, but isn't it just a matter of creating this "record line" when the current distance matches the value stored in the array?

    I need only "record line" = best distance stored in the array. But i don't know if this is possible without any additional objects ?

    I uploaded an edited version. I hope I understood you correctly, it was simply a matter of giving the "record line" the same movement as the other objects and creating it when the current distance matched the record distance.

    It is almost good example but it is not precision because when my last record was 25 distance point and when i restart game and tried again the "record line" was visible above 25 distance points (closer 30 distance points).

    Well, you'll have to tweak the value to get a closer result I guess. Try something like "distance = distanceRecord - 4" when creating the record line.
