    Question Platform Movement with Box2d

    Hi all, I'm working on a platformer using the physics object. I want to have some moving platforms and tried using the path movement for them, but found my active object character vibrated when he was standing on the moving platform. If anyone has a fix I'd be much appreciative.

    Also, if anyone can recommend a tutorial that covers the rope object that'd be great. Thanks!

    Work in progress

    Here's the file as-is. You can see my failed attempt at moving-platform via active object triggers. Don't know why it's not working
    Left-click on the mouse makes you jump, ctrl fires. Eventually the control will be mouse/keyboard hybrid, but it's definitely rough at the moment. Have fun exploring, but don't touch the ropes, you will get stuck (another area I need to fix)

    Your detectors are on a different layer to your platform, that's why it won't detect the overlap

    Just copy them to the same layer as your platform and delete the old ones.
