    No not yet -- Did you try the Direct Show extensions to play the videos?
    (I didn't re read the whole thread so I can't remember)

    Some windows objects like to force themselves to the top (AVI is one of them) but I thought the Direct Show or Active Direct show where developer to counter this issue.

    Directshow still fails to stretch .

    I guess my first solution will have todo for my game, the only downfall to this is. If customers want to view video in my game they will have to download an external plugin such as K-Lite. They should not need todo this at all.

    What I will have todo is implement a feature, if plugin is not detected. Play still frame animations. This is lame but I guess it has to be done seems there is no fix for this and can't see one being done in the future.

    Oh no, i'm a doof!

    Active Direct Show does stretch but you have to tell it to PLAY in the event editor, if you run frame it plays automatically, but if you run application it does nothing unless you tell it to play .

    Direct Show does not stretch!

    Problem solved, no layer issues with Active Direct Show!


    Edit: This is some help for people for compatibility.

    Make sure your video files are formatted to .WMV
    This way anyone running a computer with no additional plugins can view your video no problem! (Only for Windows computers)
