Question MFX not found when in subapp

    Heyo Clickteam devs,
If you press the button in the example MFA, it suddenly can't find the extension MFX - a MFX it's already using, and one that's not even IN the subapp frame.

CTF2.5 or Fusion 2.0 + Unicode plugin required.

I've enclosed the example MFA, full source code and extension binaries HERE.

Adding the UTF-16 object to the subapp frame does not help either.

Can someone please point out why this is breaking?

    Cheers,
    ~Phi

The problem is line 174 of your Edif.cpp - when the sub app is created, Edif::Init(mV*) gets called, and since the SDK pointer is not null, you explicitly return -1 telling Fusion you failed to initialize.

The fact that Fusion calls Init and Free for sub apps is most likely a bug, here's my report:
    http://bugbox.clickteam.com/issues/1650

This is the workaround I used in my fork:

Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

Thanks for the tip LB! I might replace the EDIF I have in MMF2Exts with your one.

(altho DarkEDIF's lack of 30 headers per project still appeals to me, so I might have to just add your fix)

Looks like the one in MMF2Exts does have that fix already. Weird.
Guess I'll have to republish any DarkEDIF ones then!
