    Question Item Reappearing Between Frames?

    Hey,
    I've been working on this RPG-type game, and I've been trying to get the character to click it to pick an object up, and then the player can go to their inventory on a separate frame by hitting 'E'.
    The issue is that the object is destroyed but when going back to the game world, the object reappears. I'm using the INI object to save, and I've tried moving the object off the play area and just save and load it there, but that still does not work.
    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Use a Global Value.

    Global Value=0

    The item is there. And when it is picked up:

    Set Global Value A to 1.
    Global Value A=1 destroy item

    The item will not be there anymore.

    What about if I use Alterable Values to make multiple instances of the object?

    Alterable values do not carry over frames. What you can do is have an Ini item named after your object, and have a condition that says:

    itemvalue ("Ini", "haveobject") = 1 ----- Destroy object
