I'm trying to get some narration trigger objects to work for a top down movement system. I have Narration triggers set up with the qualifier Areas, and an alterable string as the dialogue that appears.
So right now I have two events:
Player is Overlapping Areas: Stop player, make dialogue box appear, set the string to alterable value A of the trigger
Dialogue is visible, Dialogue Box is visible, Upon pressing space bar: Let player move, make dialogue box invisible, make dialogue invisible, destroy Areas
The issue is that this destroys all the objects with the qualifier Areas. I've tried a couple things with variables, but I can't figure out how to delete only the narration trigger the player has seen. I have an object moving in front of the player for triggering things, so is there some way I could have it destroy anything its covering? This is a pretty important piece of my game and I just can't find a decent way to do.
