Question Help with Enemy Collision and Lowering Life

    Hi,

I have a player and an enemy. When the player touches the enemy I would like one life taken away. I can do this, but each time it goes automatically to zero because they are quickly colliding as the player and enemy move.

How do I make it so it only happens once, a life gets taken away, and if they collide say in another 2 seconds another gets taken away.

    Thanks!

hello, it's because the in the event it collides every frame. if you have 60 frames per second, 1 sec collision will give you around 60 damage.
there are couple ways to avoid that, but the commonly used is to Limit Conditions
