If you can somehow support shaders, or even better, convert them while exporting, that would be aaaaaaaaaawesome!
But seriously, shaders must be supported, I couldn't think of creating a game without.

A bit off-topic, but WiiU exporter would be awesome...

    Anyways, awesome job!

I agree, shaders in this day and age are an absolute must for almost any project.

The apps will be updated through the Windows Store, right?

Btw, it would be awesome if there's some way to open URLs in the default web browser, like the Open URLs object.

Do the basic shaders work at least? Like the Add shader?

Yes Add, Subtract, Monochrome, Inverted work.

    >> The apps will be updated through the Windows Store, right?

    Yes.

Theoretically it should already be possible in the current version but it seems there is a bug, I'll report it.

Sorry to bombard with questions. How does UWP stack up against XNA in terms of performance? I remember XNA being patched to optimize the image management which helped a lot with the loading times.

I don't know, we didn't make comparisons with XNA, and I suppose it depends on applications. I think event handling could be slower but image handling / rendering could be faster as it's more optimized. If you want to check with a specific app maybe you can send us this app and we check how it performs.

I don't have a particular app in mind to test, just asking out of general curiosity. If Microsoft approves my dev request regarding UWP I'm sure I will be picking up the exporter.
