Question Is there any problems with playing big sound files on iOS?

I am trying to figure out why on iOS my game is not playing any music. In the meantime I wanted to ask if there are any known issues with this? My music sample is 7 mb big, is that the issue because when I swap it out for a small file it works? Is there some special permission or anything else I need to adjust?
The music plays fine in regular runtime or on Android so I find it strange it is not working on iOS.

Ah, it's probably normal. iOS doesn't support OGG yet, OGG files are converted to WAV format, much bigger. Fernando has made changes for OGG support but due to deadline issues these changes haven't been verified & tested and can't be integrated in the official version yet. We'll try to do this for the build 287.1 or 287.2 (it's too late I think for 287.0). Maybe use a MP3 file for this sound in the meantime?

Ok which format should I try to convert to, to get around this?
I think I have other ogg files that are working though (most of my sounds are .ogg I think). But you mean that the files get to big since they are converted to WAV if they are already big and that can result in it not playing?
I tried to compress the file down to 1.65 mb but it still does not play.

I tried a smaller .ogg file and that works.
Also tried to change the music that was .ogg to .mp3 but it still won't play on iOS. What format should I use?

Hmm, I wonder if it's due to the runtime I sent you privately, Fernando had made temporary changes in sounds and canceled them. I'm going to send you another one, just in case.

Thanks! Yes there must be something funky going on because I actually tried to build with the music I use in my previous game Tap Heroes and that does not work either.
