I have found the best results in endless type of games to scroll the background but I have never tried it with the ground object.
I will play around a bit more and see if I can figure out how to reduce that flicker.
Wonder if the calculations on the frame size are slowish.
The file above is also missing the ground graphic -- It might be a good advice to import that in rather then use an active picture.
