How to do iOS photo zoom?

I would like to have a pinch zoom feature like on the iPhone's photos app.I've been trying to duplicate it,but I haven't been having much success.Does anyone know how this can be done?

I'm talking about using two fingers on a touchscreen to make an image bigger or smaller.

    Thanks Plasma,it works great.
If you can, could you add moving the object around?Like how you zoom in on a photo and move it to look at a certain part while zoomed in.
