    Platform Movement Object- Use Groups

    Hi,

I'm using the PMO for the enemy AI in a jump and run game...

But - I can't use the PMO on Groups (for example: set Object to Group.Bad and doing some stuff).
If I try this, only one object of the instances, having the "Bad group", acts with the PMO???

I just like to use one PMO for many different enemies by using a Group.
    Is this possible?

    Anyone an idea?

    thx

Not without using fastloops to individually target each and every object. PMO needs a specific object to focus on.

    ok - i see.

So, do I need one PMO for each instance of an object to set the target on each of them, or can I handle this with only one PMO too?
Not sure how I begin to solve this problem.

Maybe someone has an example or any experience with that???

best to create a separate PMO object for each object at runtime. See this example by Nifflas

Oh my goodness, the answer to my prayers. The bane of my existence since I first started using Clickteam was enemy platform AI. I wanted something that equally matched the enemy's movements to the player's movements so their movements were identical and made them seem to belong in the same space. However, all of the movements I had only worked for one instance of either the enemy or the player. Any copies of either completely destroyed their functionality. Finally I realized I can search here for something useful and I have. I can finally transcend time and space and get on with my games!
