I am relatively new to CTF2.5, I came from Construct 2 and I am having trouble finding how this event equates from C2 to CTF2.5.
My game is a platformer.
When my character jumps, I want the jump sound to play
Jump is mapped to Ctrl (Which I don't like and I'd like to change to Z but I can't figure that out yet so any help here would be helpful)
I sent the event to be when Ctrl is pressed, play Sound clip "Jump"
I feel that's not the most efficient way to do that, please let me know if I'm mistaken
The problem is that I can press Ctrl 5 times while the hero is in the air and it keeps making the sound, which is to be expected based on my event system.
In C2, there was an event called "is grounded" that would be used in this scenario. What is the equivalent in CTF 2.5?
