instance of active a follows specific instance of object b

    Hi,

About 15 years ago and before :P I used klik & play, click and create and later Multimedia Fusion 1 to create games. The older people here might know me for 'funny furries 2 xmas' and the 'platform movement' some others used. I would like to pick it up again and maybe buy it but I remember one thing which was difficult.

Let's say you have 10 active's called circle which you let move like bouncing balls. And you have 10 actives called square. In the event editor you could tell to square to set it's x and y relative to ball. The problem was that each square would follow one circle instead of one square per circle. Can you link actives to specific instances of another active by setting a variable orso?

    Greetings,

    Bastiaan de Jong

Hey, I remember you from the old days! Hope things are well.

Anyway, here's an easy way to do what you need in Fusion using the built in ForEach loops.

Thanks a lot! Bought it, installed it, checked out your example and got it All memories come back to me. So little has changed in the workflow of the program itself and yet so many great new things are possible.

Currently messing around with the global event editor, global actives and how you can't use alterable values there if I read it right? Luckily I see plenty of workarounds, I think. A lot of interesting extensions to install too.

    Let's make a game
