Create active AND copy its frames and properties?

When right clicking an active and clicking on Create then Active object, to duplicate it as a new active, is there anyway to also copy the frames from the first active, as well as directional frames and properties such as qualifiers etc? I need to duplicate the same active a few hundred times but I'd have to edit each one afterwards. If I could copy EVERYTHING when creating the new active this would save an awful lot of time.

Yes, you can use "clone" or "duplicate" in the same right-click submenu of the frame editor

"create" is best used when you want to create an active from a backdrop (or the other way around)
so just the first picture will be used (since backdrops can't hold more)

but if you want to multiply your actives,

use "Duplicate" if you want to make "additional instances of the same object"
meaning that what you code for that object, will affect all of the same objects
(unless you perform instancing systems in the event editor)
if you modify one of the duplicates, all of the same will be changed

use "Clone" if you want to create "a new copy of the object"
this will create a new different object, that you can reference singularly in events,
looking exactly the same as the original object you've copied from,
but in a new "entity" you can modify as a brand new stand alone object

both those will preserve all animation frames/directions etc. of the original
and will also give you chance to select "how many" copies to do

Aha! For some reason I never knew Clone Object was there! I must be blind or something. Or maybe I thought it did something else.
Was that an option in MMF2? Because I'm more used to that than Fusion 2.5.
