    When you get build errors with Android you better use the Android Export Module 2.5 Sub-Forum.

    "Apppath$" expression doesn't work with Android, but you can use the Android Object.

    For example when you use the Ini object for Windows you could do:
    Start of Frame
    - Set current file to: Apppath$ + "Save.ini"

    For Android it could be:
    Start of Frame
    - Set current file to: DataStorageDirectory$( "Android object" ) +"Save.ini"

    When you use Ini you could also enable "Create INI file in Application Data folder" in the Ini object Properties and also set the name here(for example Save.ini).

    Exclamation

    Sorry about that, didn't know if it was android specific. Still not working for me it seems like it's not able to create the file at all. I am using the Create INI file in Application Data folder" with the save file set in the object properties method. I am attaching the source code once again in hopes someone can figure it out. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    I will take a look at your example later. Did you test the app on your Android device already and didn't work?

    Just because it says there's an error doesn't mean it won't work, if you test it and no there's not a problem it's all good

    That's the thing it doesn't work as the game isn't saved at all. After typing in your profile name it's supposed to create an ini file with the following data:
    Code:
    [Avatar]
    Username="Foo"
    [Counter]
    Boubles=0
    Auto_Filter=0
    Strength=0
    Health=0
    Speed=0
    [Cost]
    Auto_Filter=1
    Strength=1
    Health=1
    Speed=1
    The ini file is then read on the next frame. It seems like it is being read as everything is set to it's default value. However when returning to the title screen and clicking on training it keeps asking for for a profile name which should only happen when the save file doesn't exist. After typing in a name in profile screen i check for the file in the games folder and see in fact the save file does not exist. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Alright, in your example it's important to leave the Name in the Ini properties empty, also uncheck 'Create INI file in Application Folder' for all the Ini objects.
    Instead - in the Training frame add another Start of Frame event - Ini object: Set current file to DataStorageDirectory$( "Android object" ) + "Save.ini"

    If you want the player name Group entry visible in the save file all the time on your device, you could add another Android Object in Profile Setup frame and add the same Start of Frame event.
