How to use a server to download images to game?

What I would like to do is have a game that could check a server for new images and if any are available download and load them into a active picture.

    1.How do I do this?
    2.What server do I buy?
    3.What objects are needed?

    Thank you in advance.

Will the users interact with the object (are there any events)?

No,I will put new images into the server that will be automatically downloaded when the user starts the game.
The user will only look at the images downloaded.

You could probably use the GET object to call information from the server, although I don't really know how to use that object. The "download object" can download files from the internet if you give it a URL.

You could use the Web View Object.

I was just playing around with it,but I can't figure out how to get the image in to a active picture or how to save it.
Do you know which actions I should use?

Try using the Load URL event.

I found a way to do it.Lets say the jpg is "dog.jpg" and the text (Html) I have to take it out of is-

    Body
    "website"
    page
    Image-"dog.jpg"
    "site"

    ______________________
    Start of the frame
    -Load url

    On Load Complete
-Split string (GetHtmlSource) with delimiters """" (quotes in quotes)
-Set globe string A to (Element$,62) using string tokenizer

globe string A is now dog.jpg

I have a new problem tho.
The string tokenizer isn't specific enough,if I try to do this on another page with the same events it doesn't work.I just started using the string tokenizer and string parser so I don't know how to use them well.

Are you retrieving the HTML file? Is this your HTML file, so you can edit it? If so I would add an ID attribute to your <img> tag to call out the image. Then I would use the delimeters <img id="Photo ID" and />. Therefore you would retrieve the text between the <img> tag which would be the filename. The ID acts to specify the image you want to retrieve since there could be multiple <img> tags on the page.
