    Physics engine still crashes program

    I have tried many things to try to debug this issue. Taking out the physics engine, putting it on all active objects, taking it off one at a time to see the effect, making test program. The test program had just the space ship and then it would no longer scroll and the ship would disappear off the screen regardless of settings. So I am asking again for help, if anyone can suggest what might be the problem. I have put my file on in previous post. If there is no solution I guess I could not use physics and then my question is how to get the enemy ship to bounce- its movement as bouncing ball didn't do it. It was sticking to my ship even though I told it to bounce. I need to solve this or start all over in Unity which would really suck, because that is a much more complicated program and I am not a programmer. I have had one class in unity and made a game but I basically would be starting from scratch again. Any help would be much appreciated.     This will be fixed in the build 287.5.

    PS: next time you get a crash you should report it in the bug box.

    just in case you can't wait,
    I'm sure we can find a solution to make your ship bounce without physics

    if you'll need it bump this thread before starting from scratch with Unity

    Thanks guys. Schrodinger, if you know of a way to make it bounce I could forgo the physics for now. I really don't relish diving back into Unity- it gives me a headache thinking about it. I am not sure how to get the 287.5 beta version but I will look around on the site.
