    Panning Active using mouse positon

    Hey everyone,

I'm trying to pan an image using the mouse coordinates to achieve an effect that looks exactly like this:

    http://manos.malihu.gr/tuts/jquery_i...ng_liquid.html

    I was thinking something like:

    Always
Image, set X Position to MouseX * some magical expression
Image, set Y Position to MouseY * some magical expression

Maybe something using ObjectHeight and Width with Frame Height and Width?

    Thanks!

The following formula works for the picture in the example in a 800 * 600 window. I haven't been able figure out a formula to adjust to any image or window size. Hopefully someone else can help out with that.

XPos and YPos are alterable values of Image.

    Always:
    Set XPos("Image") to XPos( "Image" ) + ( -160 + XMouse * 1.4 - XPos( "Image" ) ) * 0.05
    Set YPos("Image") to YPos( "Image" ) + ( 140 + YMouse * 0.5 - YPos( "Image" ) ) * 0.05
    Set X("Image") to 800 - XPos(" Image" )
    Set Y("Image") to 600 - YPos( "Image" )

this should work for any screen size:

(if you are using screen borders as boundaries)

    two versions included
enable/ disable just the easing version or the plain version
hot spot must be in the middle of the image
