    Exclamation Clicking Chartboost ad and returning to game restarts the game?

    Hey,

    This is pretty urgent, I'm looking to release next Monday.

    Right, so the problem is at least with Samsung Trend Plus (older phone running android 4.2.2, yet my game works well on it) that when I load ad with Chartboost (test ad in this case) I click it - it opens internet or chrome browser and takes me to Chartboost website.
    However if I click ad and when browser starts loading the page I hit "return" button (hardware button) a few times, browser closes and my application opens to a black screen, stays there for a few seconds and then starts from the first frame.

    Everything works fine on newer devices, however when the performance seems to be good enough for older devices as well I'd really need to figure this out asap.

    I'm using latest Steam version. I've tried with latest beta and with android beta that Danny provided me with. Didn't help.

    I've also tried putting almost everything in a group and then "On interstitial located at "Default" Clicked" - Deactivate the group. When returning to frame it will start adding to a counter and then jumps to a new frame.
    After some testing I don't think it's my code to blame.

    I've also been able to duplicate this in a empty frame with a few counters in it and also without Chartboost object by opening my game, putting it in the background, opening browser and quickly closing the browser with "back" hardware button, after that hold menu button and open the game again and it starts from the beginning. At least every now and then.

    I won't upload .mfa as I don't see that helpful, however I can give any additional info you might need.

    I've no idea what all this means, but "BufferQueue has been abandoned!" sounds like it could be the reason, maybe?

    Must be related?

    I've an almost empty frame that I can make to restart by doing this:

    1. Open the application and use home screen to minimize
    2. Open internet browser, wait a few seconds for it to start loading and press the back button several times
    3. Hold home key and open your application: It may or may not restart

    Repeat this will make application to restart at some point.

    I'm able to do this on Samsung Trend Plus, on never devices everything seems to work correctly. Any word on this would be much appreciated.

    Did you test the application in this way;

    keep it running for at 15 min to see if get crashed?, this will separated any possible crash from other object.

    BTW your report will be great if you can collect this data using MMFRUNTIME as Tag, this will help to show any possible crash inside the runtime, please open a bug report with this info , I will provide two different runtime to help detect where is this cancel bufferqueue is happening.

    Hi Fernando, I think I tried that but didn't get any alarming, so it's not Fusion crashing.
    I'm thinking it might be memory issue (low memory, auto turning off the app or something) however I'm not sure it's still right to restart the application?

    I think it might be related to the link I posted earlier, not sure though!
    Maybe there's a problem stopping the activity correctly?

    I have really limited time here so I can't go testing but I highly doubt it's object based. I think something else happens.
    However if I find a spot I'll most definitely try with empty application only to narrow any possible objects causing it.

    the runtime accomplish the application lifecycle as you mentioned in your link so that is not the problem

    I am trying to identify if somehow other things, this device it does have low cache available but my LG sporty50 have the same specs and work ok here

    I can provide you a special runtime for you to test there.
