    Question Mobile game scrolling upwards.

    Hey,

I am making a game in which the player has to jump from platform to platform (think something similar to doodle jump), I am trying to make the play space (the area that the can player move in) infinite so that they don't run out of space or hit an invisible wall. Now I have read the documentation and understand if you put the vertical height to -1 then its infinite, but that is only downwards, the space doesn't expand infinitely upwards only downwards.

This is a mobile game and my window size is 640 x 960 while the virtual size is 640 x 960(or whatever option works, -1, for now I have set it to 20,000 so I can test out the rest of the game)

I hope this makes sense, and help is appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Andrew

    Hey,

I've watched both of these videos before, i'm guessing the only way to do vertial scrolling in an upwards direction is to move the background down and generate the platforms that way.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

yes, you can also just make a very tall level and just use regular scrolling.
