I've got a very nice wall climb system worked out for a game im working on at the moment. I'm not using the PMO either, i've made a custom system to control everything. The issue i'm having is making a diagonal wall climb possible. As it stands now, i have events set so that the player's y position is at the y position of the ceiling sensor while hanging, until he climbs to the edge and falls off. I tried the same thing with the diagonal sensor but where the sensor is at a 30 degree angle it doesn't quite work right and the player doesn't "stick" to the sensor. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to make a player move along an angled hanging surface while moving left and right?
EDIT: I figured it out i had to do away with the y position of the sensor matching the player, instead when moving right, i added +1 to the player, when moving left, -1 from the player. Hope someone comes across this and finds it helpful if you all need, i can post an example.
