All you have to do (until Fusion is updated) is open the Info.plist in Xcode and delete the line "Application does not run in background" and the warnings go away.

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

This is my game Num Yumms.

This is a simple game based on moving around a board eating number candies. The premise is that your little character needs to eat to grow, and if you score the right number (within 5 moves) you will hatch a new little character. Right now I have 30 Num Yumms to discover with more in progress. It's looking like the game will be out in the next week or so.

Looks great! I used - 4R2DB-EL4RX-QHDGZ

good news, I got it working! I had to add the security and webkit frameworks. That seems to have taken care of it.
-
That's how I added it the second time around which created all the errors in the final screenshot. Whats a fresh folder project?
-
I tried it and am still getting the same errors. I tried the game without Chartboost and it runs fine. I'm using the Charboots 2.5 object and funning Fusion Developer 289.3. Below are screenshots showing the process and errors that popup. I'm probably doing something silly wrong but my brain is about to pop
-
So I've finally sat down to upgrade my apps to be able to run on iOS11 and have run into a bevy of Chartboost errors when trying to build the app in Xcode. I haven't updated my apps in years but I assume getting the framework into xcode hasn't changed much. I simply drag the framework file out of the Chartboost 7.0.1 folder into the left pane of Xcode to add it, correct? I make sure the `StoreKit`, `Foundation`, `CoreGraphics', and `UIKit` frameworks are also linked(per chartboost directions). One thing that I noticed is chartboost doesn't automatically popup in the linked frameworks so I have to then drag it in there as well. Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi guys!
thanks for the quick replies!!!
Danny - Would I need to get a device ID and username if I'm just looking to do a global coin count that wasn't user specific (all users combined)? I guess its the technical side that I could use some help with, the online stuff has always given me migraines
Popcorn - I'll start digging into this, starting with the SQL! I appreciate the help!

Hey guys,
I'm working on a little project and want the player to see how many "coins" have been collected worldwide/all time (similar to Super Crate Box with crates collected). My thoughts are that at the end of a game it would retrieve the number (Using the GET object?), add that number to the players latest score and then resave it online. So if 100 people play the game you would know the total amount of coins collected during gameplay. Just a single number that is updated. Can anyone shed some light on how to do this? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

that was exactly it
you are the best nivram! Thanks!!

I haven't installed a BETA in a while. Whenever I try to install this one it tells me - "Clickteam Fusion 2.5 has not been totally installed because of the following reason: Product not installed, please install it before running this program." Anyone have an idea what's causing this?

Hello,
I'm currently looking for a extension developer to make a basic Bluetooth extension that can send an integer to a Bluetooth connected object. it doesn't need to do anything else. If anyone would be interested in taking this on message me. I unfortunately need it ASAP. This is a paid project.
thanks,
Tony

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy it!

Thats the plan. I initially started it as a mobile game so it's someone resource light. I'll probably target tablet specific though.

That's exciting news! Congrats!

I use gifcam, its really easy and uses greenscreen to keep the size down

As an independent person, and if you are making a reasonable amount of money from selling your creations (along with any other side work you may be doing) I'd suggest looking into forming an LLC that declares as an S corporation to the IRS. You get the protection of the LLC and the tax benefits of the S corp designation (which can be substantial). I'd also say keep track of everything you spend money on, even coffee or lunches you might purchase while working on a game ( a percentage of this can be deducted). If you work from home, designate a certain room as your home office and you deduct a percentage of your household bills such as heat, electricity, phone, etc.. (based on the sq footage you set aside as a home office). The best way to go it is to just pay to have your taxes done, its usually not pricey, and they should be able to help you with all of the deductions you would never have though of.

This looks fantastic! Great work

Just learned that playing this game with a sleeping baby in the room is not the best idea lol especially if your jumpy.
