It works fine for me in landscape mode, but I experience a strange effect when I use the WebView object in portrait mode. The display flickers and there seems to be a white layer over the whole display which becomes sort of transparent and reveals the loaded HTML page only when I touch the display with my finger. It also occurs with the example files that were posted earlier in this thread - all is fine in landscape mode, but when I change the mode to portrait, the overlay/flickering issue starts. Has anyone made the same experience or does anyone know how to solve this?

Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

turtle, you made my day thanks a lot, you were absolutely right with both suggestions. Thanks a lot!
While I do understand the issue with the bratwurst on the teller and the animation being stopped for all bratwursts, I don´t really understand what restore animation frame does. Have to dive into it deeper, I guess.

Hello forum members,
I wonder if you can help me with a strange behaviour the flash runtime shows. It differs from what the standalone runtime shows.
I´ve got a button which creates a new object "bratwurst" each time it is clicked. One can then drag the bratwurst object onto a frying pad, where you can see it become fried - that is done by an animation of the bratwurst object.
Now the problem: in the flash runtime the bratwurst animation will only show when you click on a bratwurst object. In the standalone exe the frying animation runs autonomous, as long as the bratwurst is over the frying pad - that´s the way it is meant to be.
Even weirder: I know that the animation frames ticker on in the background, because after a certain time the bratwurst will explode. That takes place, even in the flash runtime. And the explosion is triggered with the end of the frying animation.
I attached you my work files in hope for help. I tried to isolate the problem as much as possible.

This article is very interesting and very well documented. Thanks for writing it.

Hi everyone!
I was pleased to see there is also a german community. But there is not very much change in the forum´s MMF section. I doubt that it makes sense to split up the community in locales, when there is so little update. When I need help with an MMF issue, I think I would prefer to post it here.

Hello everyone,
I wonder how many MMF/TGF users there are in the area around Hamburg, northern Germany. One can search the forum user list by location, but very many users haven´t filled in the location in there profile or only wrote “Germany”.
The reason why I would like to know this is because maybe there are enough to arrange a meeting or even a “Stammtisch”, where we can get to know each other, exchange knowledge, experience and more that could be interesting for every Clickteam user.
So far I know that board member Nuwanda is living pretty close to me, 30 km´s or so. We are already meeting and talking a lot about MMF development, and we would be happy if there were more.
Let´s meet for some grilled dead meat and chilled drinks and a lot of good talk right this summer!

Very cool adaption of a classic. I allways envy your sound effects. Keep up your great work, my friend!

Sorry, I had a lot of work to do and lost focus on this for some days. Thanks a lot for all your suggestions.

Good evening folks!
I wonder if it is possible to provide that an swf I generated with MMF2 can only be run from my website, to avoid hotlinking,

Welcome, Nuwanda may the MMF2 force be with you...

I´ve got MMF2 Dev on my Workstation and I would like to install it on my notebook, too. Is that allright with Clickteam?

How is it then, when I install a new build of the SWF exporter - will I have to reinstall all extensions that overwrite the original actionscript/flex files? Would sound logical to me.
-
Indeed, that was it... my Flash exporter was not the latest build. Works great now. Really a great extension. Thanks a lot.
-
That is exactly what I have been hoping for thanks, Looki!
[EDIT]
I just tried it out and overwrote the original files in my MMF2 folder with yours. Then I started a swf project and placed an edit box. I compile the app as swf, in the swf the edit box is not shown. It does show well in the preview from within MMF2, but not in the swf. Also, edit boxes I created in earlier projects dont´show up any more when I compile them to swf now.
What can I have made wrong?
[/EDIT] -
Indeed, seems like my prayers have been heard - by Looki...
-
No, it doesn´t either, I just tried it...

Hello all,
I have got a problem with the edit box object when I compile it as swf. The problem is that the edit box has no scrollbars. I checked the scrollbar feature under properties.
In the preview mode there are scrollbars, but they are gone when exported to swf.
I uploaded the swf and the mfa file. It would be nice if anybody could help.

I would be happy, too, if there is a way that MMF2 supports the Java runtime for consoles like CAANOO, Wiz etc.

Okay, it worked fine like that.
