Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

    DistantJ;
Some of Your Points are valid but don' t forget that the Game-Maker-Studio still costs about double the Price of Fusion (and the Export-Modules are also more expensive than the Ones for Fusion). The Yoyo-Compiler (which you mentioned (to export to native Code) is an additional Module for GMS and it alone costs as much as the MMF2.5 Developer Version. Also Unity still costs a lot (at least the Pro-Version) and the Exporters are also not cheap. And don' t forget, in GMS and Unity, you still have to know a Scripting-Language to get decent results.

But i have to agree that the Competition is getting stronger every Day.

    Thanks Jeff for the Quick-Reply.
I will post the Bug in the Bugbox as soon as it is online again. I just thought i post the Bug here because Yves mentioned on the first Page that it needs to be a Quick-Beta-Test so the Steam-Version can be released quickly.
By the Way, great Update, i realy like the unlimited Variables and Strings :)

Sorry to post here but the Bug-Tracker is not working right now.
I just noticed that in the HTML5-Exporter i can not use the Expression "Read Cookie". I can not get the Expression-Editor to accept the Expression as Valid.
Probably somebody could test with the HTML5-Exporter to confirm this Bug.

    Thanks in Advance

The List-Object should work in Andoid too. You can place it outside the Frame if you don' t want it to show in the Frame or you can even make the List invisible during Runtime :)
I think it' s the Easiest Way to achieve what You want. You can even populate the List with Numbers at Runtime and then draw numbers off from a Random-Line in the List and then delete that Line in the List.

If you don' t mind using an Extension, then You could use the "Random Pool" or the "Random Multipool"-Extension.
It allows You to create a Pool of Numbers and then "draw" these Numbers off from the Pool. Every Number can only be used
once (until you refill the Pool ofcourse).

    Hi Conceptgame,
    Thanks for the fast Reply.

    - Probably the Dragon-Boss is where you could add some kind of "Mini-Game". Because the Boss does so much damage, it could probably be possible to "dodge" the Dragon-Attack by Pressing the rightButton at the Right Time (for example Up or Down). Another Idea could be that the Boss "summons" some Kind of Magic that hovers in the Air for a few Turns near the Boss before Attacking the Player. If the Player attacks that "hovering Magic" it could explode and do heavy Damage to the Boss. As You can see, i' m a Fan of Surprises, especialy during Boss-Fights.

    - World-Encyclopedia is a very nice Idea to further Enhance the Immersion into the World. Another Trick to add Immersion is to add some Kind of Customization to the look and/or Background-Story of the Main-Character.

-Probably i' m just dreaming but a "Mode7" World-Map where the Player can navigate freely to certain Points to start Missions would probably also be Nice because it gives the Illusion of being able to explore the whole Continent. Some Missions could open up only after finishing the other Missions (previous Mainquest- or Sidequest- Mission). Also the Airships would make perfect Vehicles to explore the Continent and floating Islands. Anyway, that' s just me dreaming (like i mentioned before) because i also know that it would almost certainly lead to Issues to implement it at this advanced Stage of Development.

Anyway, i realy wish You big Success with the Finetuning and Finishing of Chapter 2 and 3 of the Game. If i have some more Ideas or find Bugs i will ofcourse inform You in this Thread.

Still looking forward to the Game eagerly and i hope i' ll be able to defeat the Dragon-Boss next Time (i probably also have to practice somewhat more until i' m able to defeat the Dragon).

PS: I send You a PM with my E-Mail-Adress asap so we can have our Swiss-Game-Design-Discussion over E-Mail.

Thanks again for all Your Efforts,

    With kind regards,
    jahkri

    Hi Conceptgame,
i played the new Version and i worked perfect, but i was not able to defeat the great Dragon in Mission 3 even though i' ve leveled up the two Characters and also the Weapons.

I d' like to share some Thoughts of Mine about the Game.
    - The Graphics and Music/Soundeffects are very, very Nice and have a Professional Style.
    - No Bugs (as far as i can tell so far)
    - The Story begins very promising (with the Angels) but seems somewhat "lost" during the first few Missions but this could also be my (wrong) impression because i didn' t make it realy far in the Game ;)
    - It' s probably already to late to implement but it would also be nice if the Player could enter the Name of at least the Main-Character and is then also referenced in Dialogs by the Name that the Player entered. This enhances immersion a lot.
    - Some little Puzzle or Mini-Games would also be nice. They could add some variety to the Fighting-Sequences (i know that it' s very Hard and Time-Consuming to impelent such additional Game-Mechanics at the Stage of Development You seem to be now).

Anyway, i was very positive surprised by the professional look and feel of the Game. I personaly :) know how much Time it takes to create such a complete Game. Congratulations on what You have achieved. Looking forward for more.
I also think that the Game-Design-Scene here in Switzerland is still in it' s very early stages. We could probably send a PM to each other to have a nice discussion about how the Game-Design-Scene in Switzerland could be made more "public" and more Relevant.

Sorry for the late Reply, i was very busy over the last weekend and i couldn' t play the Game to much. I will ofcourse play some more and will report back in this Thread if i find any other Bugs or Things that need Attention.

    With kind regards,
    jahkri

    Hi Conceptgame,
is it still the same Download-Link for the Updated Version?
I' ll do a comparison between the two Versions and i report back asap.
Sadly i didn' t had Time to do further Testing over the Weekend, but i think i' ll find some Time in the next few Days.

    Hi Conceptgame,
i didn' t upgrade anything between the Tutorial and the First Mission. Probably a Mistake from my Side.
As You mentioned, it would be great to have a Message to tell You about the Lack of Elements.
I' ll try it out again tonight and see if i can continue with the Elements. Thanks for the Infos. I' ll report back asap about my new Observations.

    Hi ConceptGame,
i was able to play Your Game Yesterday. Very nice and consistent Graphics and a very good Voice-Over.
Also, the Battle-Sytem is nice. Remembers me of Final Fantasy :)
I' ve also encountered something strange: After finishing the Battle-Tutorial, i wanted to start the first "Mission". But as soon as i enter the first Fight in the First Mission, i suddenly get a Game-Over-Screen without being able to do anything in that Battle. Well, perhaps i' ve overseen something important... ;)

    With kind regards,
    jahkri

    Hi ConceptGame,
i' ll try out the Demo of the Game immediately. Great to see Someone Else from Switzerland creating very nice Games.
I' ll let You know if i encouter any bug or something that annoys me ;)
Thanks for all the great Effort You are doing (also Your Extensions are very nice).
    With kind regards,
    jahkri

    Hi Darkmanx_429,
not sure if this helps, but You can use the Expression: "NewLine$" in the Expression-Editor to simulate an "Enter Key Pressed"-Function.
You can also access this Function in the Expression-Editor by "Retrieving Data" from the Special-Object under -> Strings -> New line

    Hi Brad,
it realy seems to be caused by "Keyboard-Ghosting" (like Snail explained to me in this Thread):
Please login to see this link.

He also posted a very useful and informative Link about how Keyboard-Ghosting could affect Game-Controls.
Here' s that Link: Please login to see this link.

Hope this Explains the "Problem" in some greater Detail.

    With kind regards,
    jahkri

Well, it definitively seems to be Keyboard-Ghosting. If i use the Shift-Key instead of the Spacebar, it works flawlessly. If i instead use the "B"-Key, it breaks again, but now i know why, thanks to Snails In-Depth-Explanation-Link. It has to do with the internal Wiring of the Keyboard.
This Thread can be closed. Thanks Francois and Snail for the great Support.
    with Kind regards,
    jahkri
