Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Clickteam.

    Hello there,

My name is Adrian. I am currently creating a piece of software that will be a storybook reader for children to teach them about medical conditions.

For part of the app (which will be available for ios and android) I would like to have a section where children can paint in our uncoloured pictures. I have seen similar extensions like the drawing extension for PC, but nothing for android or ios.

If anyone is interested please drop me a pm or contact me at my email address - adrianraudaschl@medikidz.com

    Hello there,

My name is Adrian; I am a medical doctor and attempting to create a range of new educational applications aimed at children, teenagers and medical students.

So far we have a create a few interesting applications - (Microbiology) Please login to see this link. and (Ward Round) Please login to see this link. .

I would like very much to use facebook as a login method for our future iOS applications, but have not had much success with the sdk and facebook api respectively.

I am interested in working with a developer on developing this plugin with potential for opening it up to the community afterwards.

Please feel free to get in contact with me. My address is adrianraudaschl@medikidz.com

    Many thanks,

    Adrian

    Hey Rhys,

I think i'm starting to understand where things may be getting a little mixed up. The array file already has data which I saved to it that I want it to load when the iOS application loads up.

If I try to save new data to the array while the application is running in ios it seems to save that data with no problems.

Is it possible to load data from an array that was not created within the ios app?

    Adrian

    Hey RhysD,

Thanks for getting back to me. I did try that amongst a whole bunch of other variations (ignore the ini, I was trying to see if loading an array from an ini file would make any difference).

Even with the those changes on board when I come to compile it (even after dragging the .arr into the resources file)

I've updated the mfa with the changes you suggested. Could anybody let me know if they are able to get it working in xcode?

Thanks so much, this issue is driving me crazy lol.

    He guys,

Sorry to bring this up here, but I have been constantly struggling with this.

I have a pre-created array (.arr) with with data I need which works fine within the mmf environment. However, when I try to use it in ios it doesn't seem able to load in any of the data. I have tried attaching the .arr into xcode, but with no success.

Can anyone else get this to work at all?

Hey guys. I've been looking at this again and been attempting to get the application to send local notifications at specific times using the set trigger event. So far it doesn't send notifications at the set times, although I can confirm it does work when I just simply use the schedule notification function while the application is open.

Are there any examples of this at all?

    Hello everyone,

I'm attempting to do some experimenting with mmf and the get object.

I have been looking around for a while now and can't seem to find any links that will let me download it - they all seem to be dead.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Cheers,

    Adrian

    Wow thanks Jeff.
I haven't had much of a chance to play around with ini files and the android exporter, which is the only thing stopping me from converting it over at this point. I would like to launch an android version though.

I'll be sure to give clickteam good coverage as a mobile development tool at the conference. I'm also running a workshop on using mmf2 to create apps, so maybe you will have a few doctors and clinical scientists hanging around the forum in future - Please login to see this link.

    Hey guys,

I'm a doctor and have been using MMF to make some pretty cool education software that implementw gamification principles. ITS FREE.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks for the Clickteam guys for making my applications possible! The app is designed around medical problems and illustrated through character dialogue, reading patient notes and asking patients questions. Its a huge step up from what is currently out there in the educational field. I hope this demonstrates MMF ability to be applied outside of just games. In 4 months the application has been download over 3000 times; not bad for a very niche market.

Roll on MMF 2.5; I have big plans! Plus I will be demoing MMF 2 to a panel of international medical educations in Prague this weekend as a way to push forward innovations in medical education. Enjoy!

    Hey guys,

I've been fooling around with this new analytics engine called APPSEE, that allows you to see videos of people using your application. I have been trying to apply the open GL and am able to record touches/finger strokes, but am unable to record video.

On closer examination in appears to be a problems within the opengl .m script related to the rendering loop. I have not found a way around it and was wondering if anbody had managed to integrate this into an mmf2 ios compiled application successfully.

    Thanks guys!

Let me make it clear. Right now xcode compiled for ios6 with ini seems to works just fine on ios7, I have encountered no issues. Also, when compiling code through the new xcode preview it appears to compile well.

The issues I have encountered is trying to attach the ini files i.e. resource files to the xcode in the new preview. The software runs but states it is unable to load "file1.ini" for example.

It could become an issue if apple start demanding all new apps submitted to the app store be ios 7 compatible before the official release. Similar to how all apps now must make use of the iphone 5 screen size or get rejected.

    Hello there,

I'm currently designing an educational game for medical students based in an rpg hospital. Users will be put through a story like narrative and confront different scenarios as they progress.

The engine and artwork are almost complete, but due to my time constraints I'm looking for somebody with experience designing 2d zelda style rpg environments to create a hospital environment based off some basic sketches and your own personal design style.

This is a well paid position and for those applying I would appreciate some previous examples of work.

    Thanks guys,

    Adrian
