A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

Thanks for this very useful object!
Haven't tried it yet, but I intend to buy it. -
The devices discover each other address: a new device name and address appears after a few seconds in the scan list.
I select the device name in the scan list.
After selecting, the main window appears. The address of the selected device appears in the red rectangle with yellow text (located on the screen lower right): 'Connect to' + address
In my opinion the devices are not connected at that point (but you can be sure about the status only if sending text or picture succeeds).Phone: Android 12
Tablet: Android 13 -
Hi Fernando,
Here are the steps I made:
1. Complied the app using R294.14:
Build API 32
Minimum Android version: 6.0
Target Android version: 11.02. Used the APK to install the sample app on my phone and Tablet.
3. Run the app on the phone and the tablet.
4. Approved BT access and other requests by the app on both devices.
5. App worked fine and I was able to transfer text and pictures in both directions.6. Tried to connect the phone to my PC (Win 11) and transfer files, to see if it will work.
Was able to see my PC name in the list of available devices in the app.
Was not able to connect or transfer files between phone and PC using the app (as expected..).7. Tried to connect the phone and tablet as before to transfer files, but now they will not transfer anything.
The phone and tablet are listed in the other's device list of available devices (in the app).
When trying to send text, the top left the status text changes to: 'Not connected'.
When trying to send pictures, the app is alive, but nothing happens.8. Re-installed the app on both devices, but it did not help.
The same happened with the previous version of the BT object.
I hope the above is somewhat helpful.
Thanks! -
Encountered an issue:
Using the provided sample app I manged to send and receive text and images easily between my phone and tablet, BUT only the first time the app was used.
After closing the app and opening the app again on both devices, nothing works.
The same issue happened with the previous version of the BT object.Note that when clicking the 'scan' button, the devices are listed correctly in the 'discovered' list of the app, in both devices.

I notice that in latest Apies version 31+ it takes more time and sometimes is busy. Also note that permission specifically for android 30+ is better to ask them from object creation, which is now the code way in latest version 1.1a.
New version should be available at Clickstore tomorrow
Thanks a lot Fernando. I will try the new version and report any issues.
-
Have the same issues.
Haven't tried it in Android Studio though. -
i am checking version Bluetooth_Gradle_AndroidX_V1.1_20230110.zip and seems OK, are you using this version, if so, can i get a logcat from you
Thanks a lot Fernando!

all objects are working - which one are not?
Android SMS object no longer works.
Also had issues with Android Bluetooth object, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Did you try to make a copy of the folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Clickteam Fusion Developer 2.5) on the Desktop and then normally install the newer version?
Thanks, I didn't considerer the approach you suggest.
Registry entries might be different. Isn't it likely to cause registry issues? -
I like 294 very much. However some objects I bought in the past and need now, don't seem to work.
Is there a way to install both versions on the same PC ?
Thanks. -
Tried to use Android SMS object, but it does not seem to work in R294.
Anyone had luck using it lately? -
Finally I found the cause of the problem.
The following directory somehow got to be 'read only' and did not let apps write access:
User name\AppData\Roaming\This caused a lot of strange issues in other apps too, not just in Fusion, and was the clue for solving the issue.
Note that AppData directory is normally hidden. -
I get the error seen in the attached picture.
Can this be related to having no extensions in the Extension manager window? Please login to see this attachment.
-
Check again, I think it might have been in down earlier.
Thanks, but it seems to be some other issue.
My old laptop shows the extensions list without a problem, but my new laptop does not. -
I switched to a new laptop. Everything seems ok, except for the extension manager that will not show any extensions in the list.
Checking for updates works fine, so I guess that Fusion is not blocked by the firewall.Any ideas how to fix that?
Thanks. -
I would like to update that the testBTImage does work. I can send text and files between two Android devices.
BT functionality is important to some apps I need to develop. I'm really happy that it works!
Still didn't manage to connect my Android phone to my PC, but now I'm confident it will be solved with some extra effort. -
I tried to use the BT sample App testBTImage that comes with Fusion. Installed it on two Android devices.
The devices are connected and appear in 'discovered devices' list in both devices, however the app never passes the 'Connecting...' message. When sending files outside the app, through the normal Android 'Share' option, files are sent.
The issue seems to be related to the sample app or the BT object itself.Any suggestion/idea anyone?
Thanks. -
Issue solved, need API 31 and above.
