A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
I have downloaded the free version but what is the limits on the number of events. It did come up but so quickly i now forget what the free version specs are sorry
Could someone please provide the information on number of objects and event lines that can be used within the free version many thanks.
Hi, could someone please post an example of how to correctly use the for each object to parent a line of sight.
I am using the Widget simple LOS
To be honest I am quite annoyed, as a mmf user with both mmf standard and pro and swf exporters, I find it annoying that so much time and effort goes into providing examples for the new version.
It was us the users of these so called OLD products that provided the company with a loyal fan base.
Form me mmf standard and pro versions was money well spent, don`t forget about us.
If some one would be kind enough to post an example Thankyou!
Hi, here you may find a link to a work in progress for some basic AI: Please login to see this link.
My issue is the enemy will move through the walls.
I combined some elements into this AI, using information from this thread: Please login to see this link. and the Last-Known-Pursuit (LKP)
The principle behind LKP is that enemies remember where they saw you last. They store your X and Y location in a couple of alterable values that we'll call LK-X Player and LK-Y Player.
Only made possible with the help of nivram node example: Please login to see this link.. "Node Example"
And with thanks to Gerald for the simple LOS widget used within the project.
Arrow keys are used to move the player.
I have limited experience in using fast loops or the for each object and request help in regard to improving on my efforts.
Hi I have released the 2d and iso setup for Daz studios for free!!
Description: The 2D and Iso setup for Daz Studios can be downloaded as .Zip file from this link:
Please login to see this link.
The 2D and Iso setup is a Daz studios scene_subset, once loaded into Daz Studios this scene subset gives you eight new cameras and lighting.
With the new cameras and lighting you can easily render either in 2.5d “Iso” or 2D that allow creating, full eight direction animation sequences.
This is ideal for characters and environments used in games.
Traditionally an animated ani-block or .bvh walk cycle is 30 frames of animation by employing the techniques within the included fifteen pages PDF the frames are effectively halved.
Primary focus of the PDF file and the Daz studio scene is to empower games designers in the development of creating characters for use for there own specific requirements in Games.
You want to easily render any chosen 3d character model or object and its animations.
This is ideal for characters and environments used in games.
Naturally Daz originals and poser content can be used.
Daz Studio is now a resource in your 2d gaming software, employing new innovative techniques that can reduce the number of frames used.
Traditionally an animated ani-block or .bvh walk cycle is 30 frames of animation by employing the techniques within the included PDF the frames are effectively halved.
Unique new cameras that allow creating, full eight direction animation sequences in 2D or 2.5D views.
Primary focus of the PDF file and the Daz studio scene is to empower games designers in the development of creating characters for use for there own specific requirements in Games.
To add Z coordinates, you are going to have to use an alterable value to store the Z coordinates. However, to make things simpler, you can also have an object that already determine the X and Y coordinates for you (to display the Z coordinates, simply subtract the Z from the Y coordinates (using the second object to determine what the Y coordinates is)). If you don't quite understand, I might be able to make some sort of example sometime soon, but not right now.
If you could when you get the time as I am unsure how this concept would be applied to my example.
P.s I may be slightly late when replying or posting updates due to personal family issues.
Maybe with my example and your input we could create a resource that could be used by everyone that wished to create the 2.5D or iso effect?
My example is free for anyone to use but lets see if together we can make it better.
