Valiant Saga looks awesome. Just out of curiosity - Why did you decide to port it over to a big 3d game engine such as Unreal though.
Godot has blueprints too and a dedicated 2d game engine. It will probably give you a smaller footprint than unrealIn any case hope you come back and try fusion 3 when its out. I am sure that clickteam will meet and surpass your requirements one day
Hey friend. I think it's more than some points that I aim to my project (like using ambient light like Dead Cells, etc) but it's a wish that come with me from 3-4 years. I had a dream to learn Unreal Engine.
I'm a UX Designer so I can't code XD C#, C++.....so I found Blueprint Script the best option to me <3.
This is the first time I read about Godot, I really did not know about it XD. But I think that mastering a AAA engine like a Unreal it's a good option. I have some 3d projects in my mind to the future.
Best regards and sorry to my bad english
Best of luck to you, Pixhitt looks amazing, you can't get enough of those sidescrolling action games, Would give my left kidney to know how you did that impressive fog animation.
thank you my friend! The fog it's just one more example file that I got here in the community and made adjustments to my game. If you want I can share the MFA with you =).
Hey B.,
i am sad see you leave, but glad that you are achieving your goals.
here you are always welcome!.
see you around when F3 is out, for sure.
Hey Vivolo! Yeah, sure I will be back to try Fusion 3.
I think, by far, you were the friend who helped me the most from the community. I simply filled you with private messages and you never failed to answer one.
So, thank you very much for the support and sorry to disturb you hahahha lol.
Best regards
Display MoreHey PB,
Such a shame to see you go man! You've been around a long time now and I've seen your developments come to life, in a beautiful fashion!
I won't use this post to try and justify anything. I don't think it should be a "goodbye" but more of a "see you around" kinda thread. I will keep my eye on your developments and I wish Valiant Saga ALL the luck in the world for both development and release, and I hope you do really well with it too.
Of course I am going to say "Come back and try Fusion 3" which I think you will anyway, which is why I don't think it's a permanent goodbye, I hope not. Fusion 3 is just around the corner, whether you use it for Valiant Saga or not, future projects could certainly be entertained.
It's been good having you on the community! A helpful hand and we've had some good discussions in the past.
I wish you the best of luck for the future and see you around ;D
HEEEEY Danny my friend. Glad to see you replying here. 100% I will try Fusion 3, and you are right, I think its more a "see you around" instead of a "goodbye".
Thank you very much for all the time we are here talking and a lot of time you helped me.
I just love your work for Clickteam and I think you are a amazing professional.
See you soon!
Hello my big friends,
After around 6 years and saying goodbye...
Has been a long journey with you my friends. Now, I need to expand my professional capables.
unfortunately I see Fusion getting old and getting behind the competition. I have my project called VALIANT SAGA and I'm porting it now to Unreal 4.
I can't stay with Fusion having a lot of workarounds to keep performance for a simples 2d 16bit game running in a 320x180 application at 30fps.
There many reasons to go to Unreal 4, but the main reasons are:
- I want a HD vectorized art to use on chats and so on, but my game are at 320x180. It's simply impossible to reach this in Fusion. In Unreal it's so simple because you don't set the application resolution direct to the project.
- I want my game running in a multiple platforms like PS4, XBOX, MAC, LINUX, IOS, ANDROID and SWITCH. But in Fusion I'm getting it only on PC (Android can't get 10fps =/).
- A lot of things it's soooooo easily to do using Unreal 4 and Blueprint.
Well, I want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THE COMMUNITY AND CLICKTEAM STAFF. It's such a amazing tool and I loved every second using the software.
Thanks Yves, François, Anders, Jeff, Chris, Danny, FERNANDO VIVOLO (SPECIAL THANK YOU), DaveC, Marvin, DistantJ...

Hello my friends,
I'm trying to do the famous effect that when you kill a enemy on platform game, the game just freeze (uase) very fast and back to normal, this take long less than 1 second.
I've tried to use pause, set framerate to 1 then to 40 (what I'm using) but cant figure how to do it =/
Hello my friends.
It's a bug? Even going to my menu in fusion app and remove the F2 shortcut or changing for something impossivel like ctrl+alt+shift+F12, my game still restarting using F2 D:<
Please Help me. This is so crazy
Fusion 3 will have a OPTION to output your projects assets and events to C++, think of it as a exporter option. You will still program using eventing.
this will work much better talking about performance in relation of Fusion 2.5 default export exe???
