Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

It can go back later on.. It's a shame there isn't single click 256 colours.. There's certain objects that take a lot of space.. or simply look better in 256 colour mode.
Edit: another approach is to convert to 256 colours and then save it under another file name and copy and paste the frames that look better. At least I think that works.. The backdrops might get made and reimplement the 2 million colours though.
Please don't take the option out of mmf3. We need even more palette changing features even like uhh, 16 colors. or just being able to change an entire frame's palette and scheme if anything else.

Okay, If it's not too late there are a couple SWF I wouldn't call them bugs but inconsistencies. Pause and resume doesn't seem to work in flash, I fixed that by making the channel quiet.. mute.
Another, Question and Answer object broke an uninterruptable wav and pause/resumed it, making it restart. The game style I'm going for has tracks going on, and that works in the regular test/probably exe version, but pauses the uninterruptable track in the flash exporter and resume of course restarts it. Not too priority since I just moved my q&a object to the first board lol, but I'm just doing stuff for fun here.
Finally, it'd be nice if there was a way to display the objects animated in the editor on the frame... half the time I'll drag and drop some of the resources and not know which ones have multiple frames of animation in it, and like to get a gist of how it animates, etc. maybe a toggle button so it looks like it did in the older older versions.
Anyway I'm a pretty happy camper otherwise. This is nice work and shows a lot of progress. I'd like to know if there's a changelog link of like a text file that has it all back to the years, like a flashback to know what's what. Cheers. -bc

Thanks for the input, I figured I should start by replying where I first posted. I went ahead and took your advice and got the bundle. Well, not because of your words. I mean, in the end I don't mind waiting a little bit to compile of course. What inspired me is I had TGF2 Newgrunds loaded up and saw a drag and drop controller. I tested the movement and was ... Well, amazed. The potential that drag and drop has. WOW. I figure I'd better be ahead of the system. So yeah, I'm glad at the very least I was able to experience that. I don't know if I'd ever make a game with it just yet. Anyway, thanks again.

Thanks for the prompt reply, I think as a user of the newgrounds version of the flash exporter this is good to know.
I also wanted to check if the question and answer box works in the flash exporter. It doesn't in the newgrounds edition and I looked up someone asking back in march if it did. This would be a nice feature.
And of course transitions/fades. To get these in flash would be a dream and I'd like to know if even if there aren't if there's any user-made plugins to emulate this, or some clipart with events attached to it to get things going, like say some presets.
Between what I've experienced there's something good in each one, each version, I'm just wondering when the tugboat soars? Will there be another tugboat Yves? I hope there is. That's why I'm leaning towards yes on upgrading to an at least current product. As for the other inquiry:
I am sure you get people asking your team to bring back the stair stepper editor where it asks you constantly if it's going too fast for you, but it really did get a dream going with pretty much NO inspiration. Once I turned the drive through backdrop and the pool table backdrop into an interactive game of pool with a movie on the side with the mom trying to get her page son to eat a clock for dinner but he refused while your pool cue is a candy cane and the white ball's a gem with swashbucklers on the take.. Those kinds of responses are obtainable in a checklist excel-like atmosphere but don't show up as fluid.
But I'm down to take the next step in becoming a member, and what I've got left since it has indeed provided the opportunity and that's what you bring to the courageous commoners all over and who am I to question. I don't want to ask a bunch of questions regarding more information about clip art or examples or functions etc so if anyone has any useful links to any threads I'd be glad to look over them or a thread with links. I say too much and prefer to lurk but there's so many opportunities here like in a flask so if someone knows where there's a refill I'll be going in that direction to quench my thirst.

It does everything I want it to do, except the files do not run on the storage area.. I notice this is a little different from your other products because it makes flash files while the others do not out of the box.
I wouldn't mind buying a product like this, but I don't know if TGF2 would suit my needs out of the box. Events and frames are just grids and laying down track, but the stepping through is what brings you from here, just us behind the terminal to the next realm. The demo of TGF1 has a perfectly done stepthrough editor that works efficiently, all the library of wonderful clipart on the left, it hides when you're in the event editor.
I'm looking for something with the functionality of TGF1/KNP but with all the technology of 2, like the animated gifs and the mouse wheel that scrolls the event editor up and down and the short cut keys to take you through the frames. These are all wonderful touches. It's difficult to navigate through though. If one could come up with a skin to make it similar to TGF1 or even KNP's simple layout since you made both projects to gear towards those that want power vs ones that want functionality, I would be exclaiming the product.
I also noticed lack of mp3 support yet it asks for the lame encoder to convert to mp3s. This is very counter productive. I notice the way around this for testing is to simply take the music files out and it compiles quite efficiently even on a lil netbook like this one. Is the SWF Exporter any better or does it keep recompiling every noise file for a test run? A lot of people use mp3s for their stuff. I happen to not have the luxury of having any old wavs of my tracks lying around so to convert to wav to mp3 is counter productive. I'd ask if it converts midis and has a nice choice of soundfonts. The description doesn't say much but I'd like to know everything it does.
Fades and transitions are in the newgrounds edition but they don't convert to flash. They would look very good in a flash file and give it that presentable project look. I spent a half hour picking ones out for my project but they didn't convert over. Is that a tease and does the SWF exporter support that?
TGF2 Newgrounds Edition gets the job done with some tweaking and I'd like to show my support, but only if the products provided equal more convenience than the system I'm using. Thanks for listening.
