Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
I wouldn't mind at all if Clickteam decided to start fresh with Fusion 3. That way, they could ensure porting the runtime to multiple platforms isn't as convoluted as it is with MMF2/CF2.5.
Besides, it is because of Fusion's interface that I still use Clickteam's software suite, not backwards compatibility. Even if I do need to continue development of legacy projects, it's not like MMF2 and CF2.5 will cease to function once Fusion 3 comes out!
Is there any way to create an event where a specific object can be clicked on to either pause or resume an application? So far, I'm able to make it so clicking on an object pauses the application, but I'm stumped on making this resume the program.
EDIT: From what I understand, I could just individually set each object's animation or movement to stop this way. However, is there another way of achieving the above?
I've been considering PMing Kisguri to get a game of mine on the Clickstore. However, I'm not sure if there would be a point to adding software I have already released for free to a storefront. Perhaps I should wait until my next project is finished?
I have one more question: Will there be any difference between the feature sets of the old XNA Exporter and the free version? Or will they be the same besides different pricing?
Like Macca said, you might actually have a better chance of getting recognized when you develop for something like Windows Phone or PSM instead of iOS or Android. You don't have to worry about competing with the thousands of apps that are coming out per day in those markets.
Has anyone tried converting a game they made using the Fusion XNA Exporter to PlayStation Mobile? If so, then would they mind sharing some tips for doing so?
Are games made with this engine exportable to the different platforms MMF2 supports, or just Windows PC? If not, are you planning to make the engine that way in the future?
