Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.
A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.
Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!
I was working on a game that took me hours (I'm still working though work is stopped until a final solution for this problem is found) to finish, and after I did a routine test, it became corrupted at one point.
After the corruption happened, one level and the storyline disappeared, but the rest remained. After I reopened CF2.5 Developer (build 284.5) I then noticed that frame #3 (the title screen) is missing, but three other frames disappeared too. A level, the storyline and strangely the game over screen.
And now I may need to seek help because of such thing. I made a backup of the then-corrupted file (as a .mfa file) and I found a .001 file which appears corrupted!
Now, I guess if there is any way of recovering the file? P.S. The original is 67 megabytes in size, though I may include a link to Google Drive if it is allowed in here.
About the problem I can find out why: maybe due to performance or width and height of the app window, I guess. Otherwise ask Yves or François about it: some of them will maybe fix the issue.
Hmm...let me just think. You have a condition when each one on the active object (so-called "car"), and the loop name "carloop", inserted detector overlapping an active object. You want this to happen: for each car you see if its detector overlaps any other car.
Looks like complex, in my mind. You'll have to find out how it can be done (in fact: the thing you want to happen). Otherwise, it might go wrong in my mind. I think that the thing that is true is the one when you think, happens instead.
Neither I know, too: maybe one of admins of Clicky (in fact Clickteam, some jargon flavor in my mind) may find out. :o
As I started making level 7 of my game Urkanoid 2.5 (my Breakout style game with scrolling!), I have set everything known as "Autoscroll Extravaganza". Set the events, set the thing that you won't fail (if you don't fall you will move certain levels up because it's a "bonus level", similar to Super Monkey Ball as you collect all bananas and warp to some floors in some situations, etc.), but unfortunately, the game, of course, when the gameplay starts on the bottom, starts to "flicker" its autoscroll. The ball moves up, it becomes invisible but still scrolls.
Anyone tell me how to fix this? I found out on the scrolling tutorial, knew about that thing but nothing to mention.
After I redesigned the game and started over, I kept the Active 2 sprite.
Now, when I press the left arrow, the character stops then moves a little by its own. It is done by stopped animation only, and all other animations are good and keep Alex (character) in place he stopped, except for the stopped animation.
