Welcome to our brand new Clickteam Community Hub! We hope you will enjoy using the new features, which we will be further expanding in the coming months.

A few features including Passport are unavailable initially whilst we monitor stability of the new platform, we hope to bring these online very soon. Small issues will crop up following the import from our old system, including some message formatting, translation accuracy and other things.

Thank you for your patience whilst we've worked on this and we look forward to more exciting community developments soon!

I hate to bring this sei-old thread up, but not enough to not do it anyway.

I loe the idea of Global Events and am just learning to use them. Yet, I constantly see advice to stay far away from using or relying on them. I don't see any reasons accompanying that logic though. So, what do people think of Global Events? If stay away, then why? It SOUNDS really useful, like a way to not copy over and duplicate code across frames.

Thank you for any attempts to bring this functionality to Fusion 3. I love the ideas of Live Wallpapers, and I love the idea of creating a nice soothing and semi-interactive moving and changing art, a beautiful and gracerful backdrop that people can watch and be impressed with. Not just a game or app, but the surroundings for the other apps to rest against.

I truly mean it, thanks for attempting to get it in and figure out how to make it work, I will pay any price for this to be part of my favorite software. I NEED them together.
I'll even beta test should anything like this come to pass and you need someone to test it out on like... say.. a galaxy tab 4 10.1 inch tablet. Which I have.

I am formally on one knee here and begging un-gracefully for this feature and possible beta testing of said feature.
Many thanks for, even if nothing else, taking notice of this request and giving it consideration.
I am stoked on a level that I rarely become for even the possibility of me being able to create these in some version of Fusion.

    Well fiddlesticks. haha :)
All my ideas are written down in my Evernote program(a handy piece of software!).
Pity, I was so looking forward to diving on in, too. Perhaps live wallpaper functionality can be added to 2.5 at some point if it's easy enough to implement?
Not that I don't plan on upgrading to Fusion 3 eventually anyways. Also not that I'm complaining about 2.5 and all that it CAN do.
    Hmmm....

I searched and found an old thread regarding this, and it didn't seem possible at the time.

So... is it possible to use Fusion 2.5 and the Android export module to create a live wallpaper for android?
I just recently purchased the Android export module (It's totally like Christmas for me right now), and I'd LOVE to create some fun Live Wallpapers for Android.
Has anyone here created one using Fusion and the Export module? Any tips or information on this would be just grand... I have so many ideas for live wallpapers. :)

Or... is it still not possible?

Or maybe possible with Fusion and some after-app creation editing?

    Thanks to anyone that replies!

Sub events is the feature I never knew I wanted! (Just to be clear, I love the idea and would welcome the option whenever it materializes. Take your time, you are all doing a great job, and i love using what is available right now)

Actually, I got it working with some tinkering.

I thought about doing this very thing las night, since I am making a non wide screen game. I would have my main game in a sub-app then, centered in a wide screen frame? That would be a neat area to keep the score and number of lives in as well, as opposed to overlaying them on the game itself.

Thank you both for your replies!
I read through the scoping pdf, and it was informative.

The embedded collision frames I had tried before using the goomba example. At the time the collision frame was the same size as the rest of the frames, but I never gave any thought to the frame being larger the the others for further-away detection.

I have a bat creature that spawns a 1px line detector object.
If the player comes in contact with that line object, the bat will go into attack mode.

How would I handle two bats on screen at once? Two bats, two lines, but one line will trigger both bats currently.

I have attatched a basic mfa file.

Should I go about this differently? Is this where I'll need to learn about foreach loops? I started to look into them, but got confused when it wasn't just the bats that I needed to worry about, but their respective detector objects.

I know I'll come across similar circumstances later in this and other projects anyway. :)

Any insight or alternate methods would be extremely helpful and I thank anyone who has a look at this for me ahead of time.

Thank you guys so much! The new layer idea works perfectly.

I did originally have the spike suddenly become visable and move up by 32 pixels, but changed it to move smoothly out of the ground because of it looking like it just appeared out of nowhere.

Again, thank you so much! I'm having so much fun devising ways to kill the player off. I blame IWBTG for this though. :)

    Howdy!
I just purchased Fusion 2.5 and am having a blast with it.
Every now and then I come across something I want to achieve but it's not obvious how I can achieve it. (I even did a search, but didn't see anything like what *think* I'm describing. :) )

I am making a platformer game, and I have a spike object I would like to move come out of the ground to injure the player.

I have the spike as an active object and I would like to move it underneath a backdrop tile, to hide it. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the spike underneath the backdrop ground tile (though it can be placed on top of just fine).

Am I going about this wrong?
    Thanks!

    -edit-
I've tried Arrange and sending it to the back, but no amount of that seems to work.

This may be an odd question. :)
Can I use Fusion 2.5 and the flash exporter to make a flash navigation menu for a website?
I was thinking of making an animated fancy navigation menu to drop in a website I'm doing, and was wondering if it was possible with Fusion and it's flash exporter.
If so, can the background of the produced swf file be transparent, and freeform, or can I only produce games and apps that are square?
I don't even know if I'm explaining it right, but it makes sense in my head. :)

I plan on making games and apps with the Android exporter, but I also do some HTML design work, and was curious if I could use the flash exporter to make fancy menus or other fun stuff (and not just games and apps).
