While installing the latest version (292.26), my Bitdefender Antivirus software get triggered with 2 files:
Infected file detected:
The file C:\Program Files (x86)\Clickteam Fusion Developer 2.5\Extensions\Unicode\kcclock.$$A is infected with Gen:Variant.Razy.545830 and was moved to quarantine. It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean.

Great job, though for me I would go for Unity if I'm making 3D games
Wow, very impressive
Did you do that game in Fusion?? it seems made with a 3D game engine
We hope to see more polished games from you.
Excellent graphics and mechanics. Great job
Hi there
This topic got me to be worried about my development with CTF
I have Windows 10 64 bit
Bitdefender Total Security 2018
Clickteam Fusion Developer Build 289.3.
I made a basic simple bouncing ball game and compiled it as .exe. Scanned it with Bitdefender and reported Clean. I can run it and play it without any problem.
Is my test OK or am I missing something?
Hmmm .. looks very familiar with "Particle Illusion" from Wondertouch!!
Many thanks Sparckman, I really love your tutorials so much. I bought your course at Udemy and wish you make another course.
Best practice is to always simplify your logic as much as possible. My preferred approach is to use helper (or hidden) objects as much as I can, this most of the time works and gives me what I want without the hassle of complex math.
Try it.
IMO, CTF should stay as it is now, only to improve thing and fixing bugs, do some enhancements here and there, and that's all.
For thoes who dreams of a "Super duper CTF, version 3, 4, or even 9999", they can do that right now by obtaining a copy of Unity 3D, period.
Any furtuer "revamping, super enhancing" CTF will must bring coding to it, which will make it similar to Unity and other game making IDEs. (just remembered Adobe Director, which allow events / actions to a certain limit, more than that you go coding).
Clickteam Fusion has it's own personality and way of creating "a moderate class of games / apps" while avoiding you to code, but if you want it to do more than that, like doing 3D, networking and stuff, then you are asking it to be another Unity 3D.
So I encourage Clickteam to focus only on enhancing current CTF 2.5, but not to do a whole new version from ground up again.
Thanks
I really appreciate the hard work Clickteam is paying to fix bugs and bring improvements to make Fusion as best as it could be.
Really thank you guys, and keep the good job.
Can you add the ability to overlay videos and put elements on top of videos?
We need this feature in all runtimes, but especially in Windows and HTML5.
Thanks
You don't need a timer. just a simple counter will do.
Set the counter to add to itslef once the player is dead, then test the counter if it reaches, for example (500), then display "Game Over".
This will give you some "pause" time before displaying the message.
And of course, make the counter hidden
Where is the link for this build? I went to the mentined forum but found only build 283.5 !!
Please help
Thanks
You have to isolate the first letter first (by using substr function) then check it.
See this page: Please login to see this link.
And here you can find more about the Substr function:

Hi everyone

I think I've found a bug: Add physics engine, Add active object, assign non-physical movement to the active obj, hit "Try Movement": Boom. Crash.
This applies for any non-physical movement with a presence of physical engine and pressing "Try Movement" button.
Also please provide a way to exit the "Mouse controlled" movement boundary area. I had to press ctrl+alt+del to close the app because I got trapped in that area with no default way to exit.
I know I can set an event to exit, but like in my case I didn't do that and I got trapped forever.
Thanks
Hi. Thanks Yves and the rest of the team for the continus effort to fix bugs and bring new features to Fusion.
One small suggestion though, I wish to make the update process in Fusion more informative, like showing in the download phase: "Downloading Fusion editor update, Downloading iOS exporter update, etc".
Then when the installation get started, it also should show what component is getting installed/updated right now, with a green check mark for each component / exporter finished updating.
This feedback will assure the user that every exporter has got updated successfully.

This tutorial has many useful tips in it, including re-spawn delay using a simple counter. Hope it will answer your need:
